On June 26, Marcy Jones and FOX10 News in Phoenix visited SPOT 127 to capture a partnership between SPOT 127 and Made In Her Image--an all-girls filmmaking camp. Made In Her Image is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing filmmaking and leadership skills for girls aged 8-18 with a focus on serving girls of color. The mission of Made In Her Image is to empower girl filmmakers to find strength, knowledge and confidence in a field largely dominated by white male professionals. SPOT 127 proudly partners with Made In Her Image to join in this effort to level the field in technology and storytelling. The camp runs from June 25-June27, 2018 with a film screening gala event to celebrate the student work on June 28 at 7:00 p.m. at the Phoenix Center for the Arts in downtown.
