SPOT Wins 3 Regional NATAS Awards

SPOT 127 students won three Rocky Mountain NATAS Student Production Awards at the regional Emmys on Saturday, Oct. 14. 

The recipients are:
High School Student - Arts and Entertainment/Cultural Affairs
Max Trapp - Prom Dress
Michelle Ailport, Sarah Cowherd, Noah Delgado, Olivia Parker and Itzel Rios - SERVED, Pita Jungle

Michelle Ailport - SERVED, Nana Pancha's

Also nominated was Catherine Schwartzmann for her piece on City of Tempe's Geeks Night Out.

This is the second consecutive year that SPOT 127 has taken home Student Production Awards.Congratulations to everyone recognized by the Rocky Mountain Regional Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS). SPOT 127 is honored to work with such talented students. A special thanks goes to the dedicated instructional staff and production assistants who work tirelessly to help students tell stories from their communities. 

Update: SPOT 127 students were also recently recognized at the Arizona Interscholastic Press Association (AIPA) Fall Convention on Tuesday, Oct. 24. The award-winning projects are:
